Overview

The goal is simple - you hear a song, and you write down what it is. Or it is, for the first 3 songs. After this, more and more songs are combined together and you need to identify all of them. However, to make it easier to distinguish, the songs each have an EQ with non-overlapping frequencies. For example, with 2 songs, anything below 1kHz comes from one song and anything above 1kHz comes from the other song. Part of the task is also to figure out which is which.

I strongly recommend wearing headphones. This is very challenging to do from speakers.

This quiz was made for Christmas 2023. Do not guess any songs released in 2024 or later - they will be wrong!

While some of these songs are Christmas songs, most aren't. It's designed for use at Christmas time, but there are plenty of normal songs mixed in too.

Scoring (if you care)

If you want to keep score, I suggest using:

Only the title of the song is required, the artist is irrelevant. Hopefully the scoring will be a little bit forgiving, but please input the full title. Apologies if any are marked incorrectly!

Question 4

Now it's time for two songs, in one track. The first answer contains everything up to about 1kHz, then the second track contains everything above that. You'll get a bonus point if you get the two songs the right way around.
